"Beneath Our Feet” follows a year long thesis exploration of people and spaces, centered around my upstate New York home. This series is focused through a lens of tenderness on sentimental objects and how they aid in shaping us. I photographed and spoke with twenty people who live near me to expand on their influences. This project highlights the question: As we get older, how do our belongings and environment impact who we are?
